We’re Launching a Spy Shot Newsletter To Bring the Future of Cars To Your Inbox

One of the cool things about running an automotive news outlet is we get photographers in our inbox all the time with spy photos of cars under development. From secret prototypes and wacky test mules to upcoming models and other stuff that’s years away from debuting to the public, we see it all.

Why shouldn’t you? We figured it’s time to pass along that insider hookup. That’s what we are doing with Spyglass, our newest newsletter. Whenever we get spy photos or videos worth sharing, we’ll send them your way along with key details you need to know. Sometimes there will be a link to a deeper story or background on The Drive for those desiring more information. It’s a convenient briefing on the coolest new cars delivered way before automakers want you to see them. Trust us, they find this very annoying.

Ford was thrilled this morning when we called about the Ford Mustang GTD prototype lapping the Nurburgring in Germany right now.

Spyglass is free. Seriously, free. We know there’s no such thing as a free lunch, but with the average new car now costing over the $50,000 we want to offer enthusiasts frictionless access to spy shots without even having to open a web browser. It’s the least we can do.

Sign up at the top of this post and you’ll begin getting Spyglass in your inbox whenever we get spy shots or videos worth sharing. Spyglass ships irregularly–we’ll send the goods as we get them.

Welcome to Spyglass.
